Hardcore Sports Radio delivers the most comprehensive, essential sports information around the clock through its one of a kind ticker and the regular updates that makes HSR an automatic preset for all “Sirius” sports fans. But to be honest, it’s not about updates, tickers or information. HSR is a lifestyle.  It’s no bullshit sports talk that is INCLUSIVE not exclusive. We’re hosting a party and everyone’s welcome. Tall, short, American, Canadian, rich, poor, football fan, hoops fan, fantasy geek, bandwagon jumper and everything in between. We focus on what sports fans share at their core. It’s a movement that’s still growing, it’s fun, it’s serious, it’s smart, it’s stupid, it’s a blast. We talk, we laugh, we argue, we yell, we fight, we bitch about the negative but make sure to applaud the positive … and the WE always includes YOU.

In sports radio, everyone talks about trying to capture the essence of guys, sitting around, having a couple of beers, talking sports. However, no one has or can truly deliver that because of the limitations of terrestrial radio. Hardcore Sports Radio launches on channel 186 at 4pm with “DRIVE THIS”

June 23, 2008
Re-launch of hardcoresportsradio.com. The new site added more interactive features
Like listener bios in a “Facebook” like atmosphere. Show groups and an all new
Photo and video section.

June 24 of 2008
Hardcore Sports Radio officially moved off of channel 186 and over to channel 98 and right
Next door to the Howard Stern Show.

July 29, 2008
The merger of SIRIUS and XM becomes official. SIRIUS XM Radio Inc becomes the new company.
In the future, customers will have the ability to subscribe from both providers and share programming.
