/me is very glad he dodged mid-week play.

Schalke and Bremen have both been very inconsistent thus far this year. Mid-week play seems to throw them off and their fitness levels are suspect. I had a feeling that Barca play was a trap as well. Huge props to FC Basel for drawing Barcelona at home.

I won't even touch Fiorentina - Bayern because Fiorentina is gonna be pissed and looking to prove a point against Luca Toni's side at home. Expect Toni to receive a chorus of boos all game long. It's "Mirror Plays" in the bundesliga this week with a lot of rematches from last week's fixtures, so it should be a pretty hectic week there too.

Finding winners is not gonna be easy this week. I'm gonna have to scour pretty hard for my picks, especially since the entire community seems to be piggy backing the David Hoffenheim Bandwagon now. I'm not even sure Big Red will come through for me this week. It's a knuckleball week, that's for sure. Anyone with 3 or more hits this week should consider themselves proud.

What the Fuck, everytime the Champions league comes around I tell myself to stay away but I just can't help myself.

I know picks haven't been good on here but I have been doing OK with some over/unders during this time and this weekend I love the over in Houston/Red Bull game. As a Red Bull fan I can say this our defense sucks and we'll need to push he action to win the game. This will leave spaces in the back line for D Wayne to exploit

Hmmm, I think I've found my picks for this week, but I need to wait to see the results from Champs League play today to make sure.

A few heavy weights teeing off this weekend, allowing for + money picks on Football Giants, and there's definitely a few "Gimme" plays in the favorites as well. I'm gonna wait another 12 hours though just to make sure the Injury Bug doesn't booby trap my plays.

The ORIGINAL Big Red Machine is back on form, and should Thump Royal Blue Rivals Schalke 04 in Gelsenkirschen to let the Bundesliga know that the bleeding has stopped and they've found their form once again

Hertha Berlin SC v 1899 Hoffenheim (+150)

As I'm sure you've all noticed, David Hoffenheim is the real deal! Otherwise, you wouldn't all be picking them as winners all of a sudden! If anyone can Draw or Beat Hoffenheim, it's Berlin, but I'll stay loyal this week because Germans Love David Hoffenheim!

Spanish Primera

Real Madrid (-400) v Malaga

Real was punked by Juventus twice in Champs League play. They will take their frustrations to this out on Malaga at home.

Osasuna v Atletico Madrid (+125)

It was Atletico to beat Osasuna on the road, or Valencia to beat Getafe on the Road. Don't let me down, Atletico, or You're off the list of  "Teams to visit" on the Fantasy Footy Vacation I'm planning for myself next year. (You've gotta see Both Madrid teams play if you're gonna do a Footy Tour: Ideally, against each other!)

i dunno why people pick -1200 plays, there is absolutely no value there. sure it should an easy pick. but i dont get it.

Jonny Houdini, Lyon is one of few teams that have been consistent through Champs League play. Lyon is my buddy's team, rival to my Bayern München. Although I beat my buddy and Lyon down in Fifa 08 - 09 Religiously, I still think they're a pretty solid side.

Much like the Bundesliga, the Ligue in France is a lot tighter this year than it's been in years, although Lyon as, as always, perennial favorites.

i know man, but i figure. valencia is not going to well the last 2 matchdays, so getafe is a tough place to play on the road, so what the hell.

i'm not that confident on marseille tho on the road, should be a sloppy low score affair, most likely a draw, but marseille has a considerably better squad then Grenoble, specially with ben arfa being hot the last 2 games.

im aiming for that 5 for 5. got close once, but fucking Hamburger couldnt beat schalke at home. Fucking hamburg.
