Rumor: Major League baseball will begin
using Instant Replay this Thursday
Case: There will be difficulties –
for some reason there is always problems with instant replay.
Rumor: Los Angeles Dodgers were just
swept by the Philadelphia Phillies and are now three games back for
the National League West lead
Case: They wont' make the playoffs
because clearly they don't seem to care too much.
Rumor: Shawne Merriman has knee
problems and Osi Umenyiora is out for the season
Case: The Chargers are more affected by
their key defensive loss.
Rumor: It's the NFL pre-season, which
means injuries are unnecessarily crippling some teams potential
success
Case: We talk about it every year, but
the pre-season should be shorter
Rumor: Chris Bosh was a lead for the
Redeem Team and will be a better NBA player because of it
Case: Bosh has gained a lot of
confidence that will translate this season
Rumor: Manu Ginobili and Jose Calderon
both injured at the Olympics
Case: Which team is affected most?
Rumor: Darius Miles will become a more
than serviceable player in Boston
Case: Hanging around the vets
can only do him good.
Rumour (from JagFan): Who will be the
bigger bust: Jerry Porter or Derrick Harvey?
Case: Porter – he was never good to
begin with but Harvey might turn out OK after the holdout
