The Green Bay Packers have released a statement on their official web site confirming that Brett Favre is returning for his 17th season with the club, starting with tomorrow’s training camp practice.

This Bret Farve shit is a lot like a ex girlfriend who you keep around just to bang when you are lonely but you know you really should just kick her to the curb.

And if anybody cares  tonight i took Indy +13.5 and over 25 in a teaser for the Hall of Fame Game.

I'd have to second Gabe's notion on this issue: I'd really like to see Brett Favre get a start and get absolutely destroyed by a sack; so badly that it ruins any chance at him ressurecting his career. The only perceivable downfall from this would be that all of his stuck up spoiled brat horseshit would be forgotten and everyone would feel oh so sorry for poor Brett Favre who ran his mouth for 3 weeks until he got his way and got reinstated and then the poor little baby got hurt. :-(

Fuck 'em. I hope he rots.

what a mess this Favre situation continues to be

i am still holding out hope that the Vikings trade for him.. I dont want tavaris starting. We have too good of a team to give him such responsibility

Its funny how they have the TV Crew filming the landing of his plane in Green Bay.
Get a life people.
Now If his ugly wife fell down the stairs getting off the plane i would be more than happy to watch NBC show me that fottage.

My dream for this situation is Aaron Rodgers (for some reason, I don't know) get's traded, Brett becomes #1 and just throws pick after pick all season. I don't want him injured, as then he'd get sympathy and would suffer onfield embarassment. I want him to start every game and throw 4-6 picks constantly.

Everytime I see the video of him crying a year ago with the "All good things must come to an end" speech, the more I dislike him and this whole issue No

Not only is that a really cliche thing to say Brett, it's not fucking true if you don't go away. I have a ton of respect for the guy and in my eyes he was -the- quarterback, but this whole Days of Our Lives bullshit is getting ridiculous

My fucking god you dumb piece of shit. This totally screws my plan of drafting rodgers now because lets be honest. Now Rodgers will be a tough person to draft in fantasy with fucking farve on the packers. OUT OF ALL THE TEAMS HE STAYS WITH ITS GREEN BAY. FUCK OFF NOW I TOTALLY AM SICK OF THIS BITCH.

Just put Favre against my Cowboys, Tank Johnson will put him on the IR.

I've read alot of comments in the forums about people ripping brett favre. These are the same douchebags that would want his autograph and would stop to talk to him if given the opportunity. If I'm betting on GB, I would much rather have a proven veteran like favre, than an unproven commodity. Only someone with his stature and experience could truly understand and appreciate just how difficult it is to leave the game. If someone changes their mind on retirement, then so be it. I'd take him on my team any day of the week.

Douchebags eh? Its guys like you who cling on to a fucking nitwit like Favre who instead of handling this situation like a professional he totally acted like an ass. Yup you can enjoy Favre and his fucking circus because clearly The Legendary Favre is not going to be remembered as a great player but the guy who came back and totally made an ass of himself off and on the field.

Like I said Hobe, you'd be the first guy to approach favre and ask him for his autograph. And favre will be remembered as one of the best players to play his position. Who the fuck cares what happens in the offseason. Why is it ok for mats sundin to take his sweet ass time deciding his future, but if a guy retires, he's not allowed to change his mind? I dont give a fuck if mr.rodgers has been biding his time, if favre wants to come back, the job is his. Are you well, are you telling me that favre and rodgers are comparable. This is the nfl, and the bottom line is to win every sunday.
