I know this is somewhat unrelated but I am told Maple Leaf and Schneiders foods have been forced to recall a great deal of deli meat, lunch meats and other Meat Products due to severe gastrointestinal difficulties which have arised as a result, and apparently, which has resulted in a fatality. To anyone in the Ontario area if you regularly eat their many meat products, I urge you to Seek out more information about this recall to spare yourself potential sickness and harm at The Maple Leaf Website, teh Schneiders Website, or your Local News Outlet.

Speculation is that the source is an outbreak of listeria.

For more information seek the following links:

http://www.cbc.ca/consumer/story/2008/08/20/maple-leaf.html

CBC's reports state 1 fatality and 16 reported cases of Listeriosis.

Since these suppliers supply much of Ontario, I urge anyone in Ontario to seek more information as to what foods may be affected as it may pose serious health risks to our community members.

Thanks for the warning. This can only help your campaign, what with your good public awareness and all that shit.

I can make this about sports in a roundabout sort of way.

Maple Leaf foods: another investment the Ontario Teachers Pension Plan has turned both literally and figuratively to shit (pun intended)

The OTTP, majority owners of MLSE, has $634.5 million invested in Maple Leaf Foods.

For other holdings of OTTP, go to www.ottp.com. It may, or may not surprise you.

That's just my opinion, and I may be wrong,............but I doubt it!

Sorry gents, this has nothing to do with the campaign. I just know there's a lot of people out there who eat lunch meats and I didn't want anyone to get sick. Sad
