Mauro Ranallo bio

When the doctor slapped Mauro Ranallo after he was born, Ranallo started talking not crying.

The 37 year old native of Mt. Lehman, British Columbia has been loquacious ever since. At the tender age of 16, he was discovered in his high school by a Pro-Wrestling promotion and for the next three years, he became a weekly staple on All-Star Wrestling seen across Canada serving as a color commentator and heel manager.

At 17, he broke into radio and for the next 10 years he was a disc jockey and sportscaster on Marconi"s medium while honing his skills as a hockey, football and basketball play-by-play announcer on television.

He"s been the voice of Muay Thai on TSN, host of the legendary Stampede Wrestling TV show in Calgary and the play-by-play voice of PRIDE FIGHTING CHAMPIONSHIPS pay per view telecasts from Japan. He currently serves as the lead anchor of the FIGHT NETWORK, play by play announcer of ELITE XC MMA events on SHOWTIME and Hardcore Championship Fighting on the SCORE. Oh yeah, he also hosts this little radio show on Hardcore Sports Radio Sirius 186 called FIGHT NETWORK RADIO.

I guess you won"t be surprised to find out Ranallo is single.

"The Man of the Peeps" John Pollock bio

Hey hardcores, I"m John Pollock and you can catch me riding shotgun Monday - Friday at 3pm on "Fight Network Radio" with Mauro Ranallo.

I"m a recent grad from Ryerson University in the Radio & Television Arts program where I was known as "the guy that"s into fighting" (yeah, try getting a girl"s digits with that rep).

Despite the "chick repellent" tag, I love combat sports and doing this show everyday is a blast. At the end of the day whether it"s UFC, WWE or the ten million boxing federations out there - it"s a business. This is an industry full of politics and constant run around that we try to cut through on a daily basis. Everyone has an agenda, everyone"s trying to "sell" their next fight and it"s our job to ask "why should we care?"

If you"re into fights and even bothered to click on my bio, than I know you want to listen to our show. Catch us at 3pm everyday where Mauro and I are giving you less piggy and mo" bank!

FUN FACT: I proudly own Aqua"s "Aquarium" CD and know all the words to each track! Don"t mess with me at a karaoke!
