Edit: Summer's over. University overdrive. Not online nearly as much. Peace out, HSR
Well, a little bit about myself just because nobody asked,
I started watching The Score partially because this arcade that I frequented had television screens placed around the building, and they were constantly turned to The Score. The network just really grew on me. First I got hooked to the recaps of all my sports games. The recaps were solid, usually really funny, and the voice-overs and personalities were interesting and really down to earth. Second I got hooked on Cabbie and Cabbie on the Street, and his crazy antics, and finally on Score Tonight with Sid and Tim and their unmatched chemistry - also not only recapping but knowing what they're actually talking about and making it entertaining.
I was really tired of the TSN bullshit of a fake smile, analysts who don't know what they're actually talking about, and doing a pretty poor job of highlighting a game just so that they can cut back to the same analysts to talk about absolutely nothing. Although I'm sure the personalities at TSN are really nice people, and although I'm sure they know what they're talking about, but I simply don't care about their opinion and I hated being forced to listen to that shit just so that I could watch the other recaps.
Anyway, the Score became my television dial's resting place, and eventually (once the television HSR advertisements started rolling around) I expanded to HSR and all its programming as well. I really don't think I need to elaborate, the shows on the radio and the television side are all quality, and I tune in every day to listen to all of the shows to get my sport fix (except for sports memo - your show is "never duplicated" because it fucking sucks). Since I don't have my own show, i'll continue to listen in for many years to come, i'm sure.

From a sports standpoint...
I dig the Toronto teams because I live in the general toronto area, but they're not necessarily my favourite teams. I enjoy watching the Raptors play, the Argos play, and occasionally the Jays and the Toronto FC play.
I was a Leafs fan but I know it will be ages until they're a competitive team, I just hope I get to see them win a cup in my lifetime.
Outside of Toronto - hockey: I cheer for the Pittsburgh Penguins, the Washington Capitals, and occasionally the Calgary Flames
Outside of Toronto - basketball: I really enjoy watching the Hornets, the Warriors, and Orlando play. I was torn when Toronto and Orlando faced off in the first round
Outside of Toronto - football: BC tends to have a really good team in the CFL and I like to follow them, and as a kid I grew up watching the Dallas Cowboys play and I also tend to follow them

Other than that?
I was a soccer referee for three years. I hated it. Minimum wage to get absolutely screamed at. I don't make the rules, I'm just here to fucking enforce them, and if you watch soccer with any regularity you should know these rules instead of challenging me about the smallest of things. I'm just glad that's over.
